Cookie Policy

Welcome to the Cookie Policy of the website of the entity EIVISSA DC DEU, S.L., holder of Tax Identification Number (NIF/CIF) B57137036, where we will explain, in clear and straightforward language, all the information you need in order to maintain control over cookies in accordance with your personal preferences.

• WHAT ARE COOKIES AND WHAT DO WE USE THEM FOR?

A cookie is a small information file that is stored on your computer, smartphone, or tablet each time you visit our website.

In principle, a cookie is harmless: it does not contain viruses, trojans, worms, or any other elements that could damage your device. However, it does have a certain impact on your right to the protection of personal data, as it collects specific information relating to you (browsing habits, identity, preferences, etc.).

For this reason, in accordance with the applicable regulations (the LSSI and current personal data protection legislation), the activation of certain types of cookies will require your prior consent.

Through a step as simple and quick as ticking a box in our COOKIE SETTINGS section, you can grant your consent for the activation of the cookies you wish to allow: take control and enjoy a personalised browsing experience on our website.

Before doing so, we will provide you with some additional information to help you make better-informed decisions:

  1. Cookies can be of various types depending on their purpose:
  • Technical cookies are necessary for our website to function properly, do not require your authorisation, and are the only ones enabled by default.
  • The remaining cookies may be used to improve our website, personalise it according to your preferences, or display advertising tailored to your searches, tastes, and personal interests. All of these are disabled by default, and your prior consent is required for their activation, which you can give through a step as simple and quick as ticking a box in our COOKIE SETTINGS section.

2. Some cookies are our own (referred to as first-party cookies), while others belong to external companies that provide services for our website (referred to as third-party cookies; an example would be cookies from external providers such as Google). In this regard, it is important for you to know that some of these external providers may be located outside Spain.

Worldwide, not all countries offer the same level of data protection, with some being more secure than others (for example, the European Union provides a safe environment for your data). Our policy is to work with reliable providers who, regardless of whether they are located within the European Union or not, have implemented appropriate safeguards to protect your personal information. Nevertheless, in the section entitled WHAT TYPES OF COOKIES ARE CURRENTLY USED ON OUR WEBSITE?, you can consult the various privacy and data protection policies of each of these external providers, allowing you to make an informed decision regarding the activation of the third-party cookies used on our website.

3. Finally, it should be noted that, depending on the length of time they remain active, cookies can be of two types:

  • Session cookies: they expire automatically when you end the session on your computer, smartphone, or tablet. They are typically used to retain the information necessary while a service is provided to you on a single occasion.
  • Persistent cookies: they remain stored on your computer, smartphone, or tablet for a specified period, which can range from a few minutes to several years.

• WHAT TYPES OF COOKIES CAN WE USE ON OUR WEBSITE?

    • Technical Cookies:

Technical cookies are strictly necessary for our website to function and for you to navigate it. This type of cookie allows us, for example, to identify you, grant access to certain restricted areas of the website if required, or remember various options or services you have already selected, such as your privacy preferences. For this reason, they are enabled by default and do not require your consent.

Through your browser settings, you can block or receive alerts about the presence of this type of cookie; however, doing so may affect the proper functioning of the various features of our website.

  • Analytical Cookies:

Analytical cookies allow us to study the overall navigation behaviour of users on our website (for example, which sections of the site are the most visited, which services are used most frequently, and whether they function correctly, etc.).

Based on statistical information about navigation on our website, we can improve both the site’s functionality and the various services it offers. Therefore, these cookies do not serve an advertising purpose; they exist solely to help our website work better, adapting to our users in general. By enabling them, you contribute to this ongoing improvement.

You can enable or disable these cookies by ticking the corresponding box, with them being disabled by default.

  • Functionality and Personalisation Cookies:

Functionality cookies allow us to remember your preferences in order to personalise certain features and general options of our website each time you access it (for example, the language in which information is presented, sections marked as favorites, your browser type, etc.).

Therefore, these cookies do not serve an advertising purpose; by enabling them, you will improve the website’s functionality (for example, adapting to your browser type) and its personalisation based on your preferences (for example, displaying information in the language you have previously selected), which will enhance the ease of use, usability, and comfort of our site during your browsing.

You can enable or disable these cookies by ticking the corresponding box, with them being disabled by default.

  • Advertising Cookies:

Advertising cookies allow us to manage the advertising spaces included on our website based on criteria such as the content displayed or the frequency with which ads are shown.

For example, if the same ad has been shown to you multiple times on our website and you have not shown personal interest by clicking on it, it will no longer appear. In short, by enabling this type of cookie, the advertising displayed on our website will be more useful and diverse, and less repetitive.

You can enable or disable these cookies by ticking the corresponding box, with them being disabled by default.

  • Behavioural Advertising Cookies:

Behavioural advertising cookies allow us to collect information based on the observation of your web browsing habits and behaviour, in order to display advertising content that better matches your personal tastes and interests.

To put it in very simple terms, here’s a fictional example: if your recent web searches were related to suspense literature, we would show you advertising for suspense books.

Therefore, by enabling this type of cookie, the advertising shown to you on our website will not be generic; it will be tailored to your searches, preferences, and interests, and thus exclusively relevant to you.

You can enable or disable these cookies by ticking the corresponding box, with them being disabled by default.

• WHAT CAN YOU DO WITH COOKIES?

When you first access our website, a window is displayed informing you that cookies can be of various types:

  • Technical cookies are necessary for our website to function, do not require your consent, and are the only ones enabled by default. Therefore, they are the only cookies that will be active if you simply click the ACCEPT button.
  • The remaining cookies are used to improve our website, personalise it according to your preferences, or display advertising tailored to your searches, tastes, and personal interests. All of these are disabled by default, but you can enable them in our COOKIE SETTINGS section: take control and enjoy a personalised browsing experience on our site, with a step as simple and quick as ticking the boxes you wish to activate.

Please also note that once you have enabled any type of cookies, you have the option to disable them at any time by simply unticking the corresponding box in the COOKIE SETTINGS section of our website. It will always be just as easy for you to enable our first-party cookies as it is to disable them.

We would also like to remind you that, through your browser settings, you can block or receive alerts about the presence of cookies; however, doing so may affect the proper functioning of certain features on our website in the case of essential technical cookies.

Finally, please note that if you enable third-party cookies (from external companies that provide services for our website) and later wish to disable them, you can do so in two ways: by using your browser’s cookie management tools or through the systems provided by those external providers themselves.
